Justice league dark 2017 movie

Why have Batman be the one to assemble the team, when all he can do is basically just stand around and growl at all the supernatural stuff happening around 

• I want to like this movie because I like many of DC's animated movies and the concept behind Justice League Dark is uber-cool: the magical DC heroes (and Batman) band together to fight a supernatural force. Unfortunately this 2017 version of Justice League Dark is subpar. For such a cool concept so much of this JLD iteration is lame.

This movie is an interesting take on the JLD run. I do not agree with everything it does, but I do believe it holds it's own.
